To protect our staff, customers and suppliers, we will implement the following:
Protection of our customers
- We allow a carefully limited number customers at a time on our premises.
- Customers must wear face masks and, on entry to our premises, sanitise their hands.
- We allow customers only at the front of our premises, between the door and the counter.
- The door to the premises is usually kept open.
- We maintain a safe social distance of at least 1,5 metres between customers and staff.
- Staff wear masks, and wash/sanitise their hands before placing finished goods on the counter for collection.
- The counter is used, as far as possible, exclusively to hand over finished goods, and to process documentation.
- We discourage customers from placing their personal possessions on the counter, and from unnecessarily touching the surface of the counter.
- Deliveries from suppliers are not permitted on the counter.
- The counter is sanitised after each customer leaves the premises.
- Our premises has forced fresh air ventilation throughout the day.
- We ask of our customers to comment, before leaving our premises, on our safety standards, to point out our shortcomings, and to suggest improvements.
Protection of our suppliers
- Same as for customers, with the counter being a prohibited surface.
For our staff - Travel
- Staff travel by means of transportation that complies with transportation safety conditions, which includes the requirement that all passengers wear face masks, queuing conditions such as inter-personal safety distance and vehicle occupancy quotas are complied with.
- Staff body temperature is measured on their arrival at work. Staff whose temperature is above normal will be refused entry, and guided to receive professional attention.
- Staff wear face masks, wash/sanitise hands regularly, do not touch their faces, maintain a social distance of at least 1,5 metres from one another, and wipe/sanitise work surfaces and equipment.
- Staff wash/sanitise their hands after dealing with each customer or supplier.
