Searching waste bins by employees, competitors and marketing organisations is common practice. Ensure confidential documents are destroyed in a secure manner to prevent unwanted disclosure.

eclipsePRINT offers a small to medium volume document shredding facility.  Convenience is part of the deal.  Our shredder security rating is "DIN 3" (see below). Documents are shredded either by yourself (which we recommend) or by our shredder operators.

Shred credit cards and CD/DVD's with no fuss.  And small staples do not need to be removed!

Ideally, all shredding is completed while you wait, ensuring that you witness the entire process.
Waste is made available to paper waste collectors for re-cycling.  Our dual-cut shredder (which cuts into strips and also cross-cuts these strips) produces more compact / higher density waste.

The payment rate for shredding is according to the mass (weight) of paper being shredded. Proceeds from our shredding process are donated to charity institutions supported by eclipsePRINT.

The European Standard DIN 32757 defines security levels for paper shredders. 
There are 6 levels:

DIN 1 - for low level, general personal security (strip witdh 12mm, strip length - same as the paper being shredded).
DIN 2 - minimum security for personal business and financial needs (strip width 6mm).
DIN 3 (eclipsePRINT) - suited for highly sensitive personal use, or medium level business security.  Sensitive data is cut in 2 directions:  along the document length, as well as a cross-cut across the strips!   (strip width 4mm, and length 38mm).
DIN 4- the standard for high-level business security.  (2mm, strip length 15mm).
DIN 5 - for banks and institutions holding personal and sensitive data of clients (0.8 x
12mm).
DIN 6 - for top-secret government, military and multi-national organisations (0,8 x 4mm).
